I discovered UI/UX design for the first time while working on a school project: a coffee shop website I named The Cozy Cafe. Intrigued by the idea of creating something both functional and visually appealing, I used Adobe XD to design my first website wireframe. The learning curve was steep at first, especially as I navigated through the interface and tried to understand how everything fit together. One of the most rewarding parts of the process was building the color palette and developing my own character styles. It felt like I was giving the brand its own personality. However, components and interactivity were by far the most challenging aspects. Figuring out how to make reusable elements and link them together for a seamless user experience took time and experimentation. Despite the obstacles, the project gave me a solid foundation and a new passion for design.
